We’re a small, boutique Goldendoodle program nestled in south-central Kentucky, built from a whole lot of love for our dogs and a genuine desire to share that love with other families.

Our dogs are such a big part of our everyday lives, and every puppy born here is loved from the very beginning. We pour our hearts into each litter from thoughtfully planning each pairing to those first tiny newborn snuggles, watching little personalities come to life, and eventually placing a puppy into the arms of the family who has been waiting for them.

For us, this has always been about more than raising beautiful puppies. It’s about raising dogs who become someone’s best friend, their little shadow, their adventure buddy, their comfort on a hard day, and eventually one of those dogs they’ll talk about for the rest of their lives.

That’s the part we love most.

Milk & Honey is our little corner of the world, filled with dogs we adore, puppies we’ll never forget, families who become part of our story, and so many sweet moments in between.

What Makes Us Different…

A Little More Than Just Cute Puppies

At Milk & Honey Doodles, we believe how a puppy is bred, raised, loved and prepared for life matters. We’re a small boutique breeding program, which allows us to stay incredibly hands-on with our dogs and every litter we raise. From the decisions made before a pairing ever happens to the support we offer long after your puppy goes home, there is purpose behind what we do.

Purposely Bred

It starts long before puppies arrive.

A beautiful puppy is only part of the picture. We carefully plan our pairings with health, structure, temperament, genetics, coat and size in mind. Our parent dogs undergo extensive health and genetic testing, including OFA evaluations, because we believe responsible breeding means knowing as much as we possibly can about the dogs behind each puppy.

Our goal isn't simply to produce the cutest litter it's to continually build upon generations of healthy, well-rounded dogs that we are proud to put the Milk & Honey name behind.

Home Raised

Born in our home. Raised in the middle of real life.

There is no separate kennel or whelping building here. Our puppies are born and raised right inside our home, where everyday life happens around them.

They grow up hearing the vacuum, television, doors opening, people talking and all the normal sounds of a busy household. They're handled, loved on and observed every single day — because when puppies live alongside you, you get to truly know them.

Being a boutique program allows us to give each litter the time, attention and hands-on care we believe those first eight weeks deserve.

Here For The Long Haul

Go-home day isn't where our relationship ends.

When one of our puppies leaves, a little piece of Milk & Honey goes with them.

We want our families to feel comfortable asking questions, sharing milestones, sending us entirely too many pictures and reaching out when they need a little help. We love watching our puppies grow up and getting to know the families who love them.

You're not simply choosing a puppy.

You're choosing the program, the people and the purpose behind them.

More Than Socializing

We're preparing puppies for the world beyond our home.

Those first eight weeks are short, but they matter BIG.

Our puppies move through an intentional, age-appropriate curriculum that includes early neurological and scent introduction, handling exercises, different sounds and surfaces, enrichment, crate introduction, potty foundations, car rides, new environments and confidence-building experiences.

As their individual personalities begin to emerge, we're paying attention to those too. Temperament evaluations help us learn even more about each puppy so we can guide our families toward a puppy whose personality fits their home and lifestyle — not simply the one with their favorite markings.

The Face Behind the Name

Hi, I’m Holly the face, heart, and probably the dog-hair-covered clothes behind Milk & Honey. ♡

Before I was ever a breeder, I was a dog person. A really big dog person.

I’ve always been the girl who notices the dog before the person, stops what she’s doing to pet one, and somehow believes there’s always room for one more. Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I genuinely can’t imagine my home or myself without them.

And while Goldendoodles are what started this journey and will always hold such a special place in my heart, my love for dogs definitely doesn’t begin and end with doodles. Along with our Goldendoodles and Bernedoodles, I share my life with Reece, my Pomeranian, and Maeve & Blue, my French Bulldogs. Different breeds, completely different personalities, and I adore every bit of them.

My dogs are my family. They’re the faces waiting for me when I come home, the ones following me from room to room, riding shotgun on errands, stealing my spot on the couch and somehow making even the most ordinary days better. I think that love for dogs is really where Milk & Honey begins.

And behind Milk & Honey, there’s mostly me.

I’m the face behind the name, but I’m also the receptionist answering your messages, the photographer taking entirely too many pictures, the dog chauffeur, the paperwork department, the puppy snuggler, the one washing another load of blankets, and the sleep-deprived midwife sitting beside a mama in the middle of the night as we welcome her babies into the world.

I’m there for the first breaths and tiny squeaks, the wobbly first steps, the personalities starting to peek through, and eventually the day I place that puppy into the arms of the person who gets to love them next.

And somehow, even after doing this over and over, that part never becomes “just another puppy” to me.

Milk & Honey grew from something that has always been part of who I am — simply loving dogs. Now I get the incredibly special privilege of raising them, loving them first, and watching them become deeply loved members of families all over again.

It’s a lot of work, a little bit of chaos, plenty of dog hair, and a whole lot of my heart.

And I wouldn’t have it any other way. ♡
