Puppy Selections: Around 6 weeks, following temperament evaluations

The Midnight Society is our dreamy little Palmer + Reef crew a beautiful group of petite Goldendoodles with soft straight and wavy coats and the sweetest personalities. This pairing has given us exactly what we hoped for: affectionate, people-loving puppies with a lovely balance of playful curiosity and an easygoing nature.

During their eight weeks with us, they'll move through our age-appropriate puppy curriculum with early neurological and scent introduction, daily handling, enrichment, sound exposure, potty and crate foundations, new experiences, car rides, and plenty of individual love along the way.

Around six weeks, each puppy completes a temperament evaluation and receives their own personality scorecard. Families are able to learn more about each puppy's individual traits before puppy selections begin, helping us make thoughtful matches that go beyond simply choosing a cute face.

Each puppy will head home vet checked, with age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, health records, our Lifetime Health Guarantee, 30 days of Trupanion coverage, and their own little Milk & Honey go-home package.

Investment begins at $2,500.

Before you pick a favorite..

Finding the right fit ♡

We know how easy it is to look through five tiny faces and immediately think, “That one. That’s my puppy.” And while looks may be what first catches your eye, we want you to have a little more to go on before choosing the puppy who will become part of your family.

That’s why puppy selections at Milk & Honey happen around 6 weeks of age, after we’ve had time to really get to know each little one.

During those first six weeks, we’re watching personalities unfold who is confident, who likes to think things through first, who seeks out people, who is happiest in the middle of the action, who settles easily, and all the little traits that make each puppy uniquely themselves.

Around six weeks, we also complete a Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test with each puppy. The evaluation gives us another piece of the puzzle, but we never use one test to define a puppy. We pair those results with everything we’ve learned from living with and raising them since birth.

Once evaluations are complete, we’ll share each puppy’s results, personality notes and our thoughts on the types of homes where they may thrive.

HOW SELECTION DAY WORKS

Families choose in reservation order. When it’s your turn, you’ll know which puppies remain for consideration and have our guidance to help you make your decision.

We encourage our families to consider:

Temperament + personality
Energy level
Confidence + adaptability
How the puppy interacts with people
Ability to settle
Your household + lifestyle
Expected adult size
Coat type + grooming needs
And, yes, the little face you can't stop thinking about

Our goal isn't to choose your puppy for you. It's to give you as much information as we can so you can make a thoughtful, confident choice.

A LITTLE NOTE ABOUT OUR PUPPY PROFILES

We love introducing every puppy and letting you follow along as they grow. Seeing a puppy pictured on our website does not necessarily mean that puppy is currently seeking a family.

Puppies who are accepting applications will always be clearly noted.

Until selection day, sit back, follow along and enjoy getting to know them with us. You might be surprised which little personality ends up stealing your heart.

have you fallen for one yet?

If a Milk & Honey puppy feels like the missing little piece of your family, we’d love to hear from you.
